eSIMKenya.com ("eSIMKenya," "we," "us") publishes independent reviews and comparisons of eSIM and mobile data providers for travel to Kenya and East Africa. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We do not require an account or collect personal information to read the site. We do collect the following automatically:

• Usage analytics — pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP address), collected via PostHog and Microsoft Clarity.
• Affiliate click data — when you click a link to a provider we review (e.g. Airalo, Holafly, Safari eSIM), we record that a click occurred so we can measure which pages and providers are useful to readers. See "Affiliate links" below.
• Information you provide directly — if you email us at contact@esimkenya.com, we receive whatever you include in that message.

We do not collect payment information. eSIMKenya does not process purchases directly — every "Get eSIM" or "Buy now" link sends you to the provider's own website to complete your purchase, subject to that provider's own privacy policy and terms.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage for analytics (PostHog, Microsoft Clarity) and to attribute affiliate clicks to the page and provider they came from. These do not identify you by name. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though we won't be able to measure which content is helpful.

Affiliate links

eSIMKenya earns a commission when you purchase an eSIM through some of the links on this site, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may receive confirmation that a visitor came from eSIMKenya.com and, depending on the partner's own tracking, information about your device or browser at the time of the click. We do not share your name, email, or payment details with affiliate partners — we don't have them to share. How we use this information

• To understand which pages, guides, and comparisons are actually useful to travelers.
• To measure which providers we recommend perform well for readers, so we can keep recommendations current.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

Aggregated analytics and click data are retained as long as they remain useful for improving the site, typically no longer than 24 months. Emails are retained as long as needed to resolve the inquiry they relate to.

Your choices

You can use browser settings or extensions to block analytics cookies. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we'll remove it.

Children

eSIMKenya is a travel-planning resource intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
