Dual SIM

A phone's ability to have two active SIM profiles at once — commonly one physical SIM and one eSIM.

Dual SIM lets you keep your home number active, for calls, SMS, and banking OTPs, while using a second line — often a Kenya eSIM — for local data. Most eSIM-compatible phones support this out of the box; you simply choose which line handles data and which handles calls and texts in your phone's settings.
